Health & Safety

Quality Drainage Company take Health and Safety serious like any company should no matter how big or small. All our engineers have undertaken Health & Safety training and we make a point of our engineers attending refresher courses as and when required (normally when major changes are made by HSE). We have an independent Health & Safety Consultant who is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, who undertakes our training as well as advises and updates us on general Health & Safety matters.

We have a Health and Safety Policy as well as an Environmental Policy and Equal Ops Policy all checked and updated by our Health & Safety Consultant. The Director undertakes risk assessments in conjunction with senior relevant staff. The Director has many years experience in the industry and in carrying out risk assessments. In addition, all risk assessments have recently been reviewed and revised by our independent Health & Safety Consultant.

All company vans have first Aid boxes and the Director and another Engineer are trained to be First Aid Appointed Persons.
